Paradise Valley Town Council has approved Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows’ application for an intermediate special-use permit to develop a nearby five-acre parcel after nine months of review by the town.
Andaz Resort will begin to incorporate the adjacent five-acre parcel at 6041 N. Quail Run Road into the resort, adding 10 new guest units and one single-story service building. Each guest unit will have a private yard with a pool/hot tub.
The vote of approval was 5-0 as Council Members Julie Pace and Ellen Andeen were not present at the regular meeting May 25; however, they attended the study session held earlier in the afternoon.
