Anatomy of the Sale: Scottsdale Plaza Resort sells for $90M

An Independent examination of luxury property sales

One of the Town of Paradise Valley’s premier resorts sold for more than $90 million last week, and two of the brokers are offering insight into the hefty sale of Scottsdale Plaza Resort.

On June 30, Scottsdale Plaza Resort sold for a reported $90.75 million. The new ownership is held through a partnership between Highgate, a leading hospitality investment and management company and Rockpoint Group, a real estate private equity firm headquartered in Boston.

The sale was brokered by commercial real estate firm, Lee & Associates. Brent Moser, a Paradise Valley resident, along with Mike Sutton were two of the agents involved in the sale.
