Holiday travel the rest of the season could be busy if the Thanksgiving holiday weekend was any indication of what’s to come.
As of Dec. 1., the Transportation Security Administration screened 15.24 million people at airports across the U.S. during a six-day stretch from Tuesday, Nov. 26 to Sunday, Dec. 1, the website stated.
On Nov. 19, the Transportation Security Administration was “projected to screen 18.3 million people from Tuesday, Nov. 26 to Monday, Dec. 2 — representing a volume increase of” about 6% from this time in 2023, a press release stated.
