Amkor $1.5B partnership with Nvidia to benefit Peoria

Amkor Technology recently announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Nvidia.

Peoria stands to benefit from Amkor's recent partnership with Nvidia to develop advanced semiconductor packaging and test technologies for next-generation AI and accelerated computing platforms.

The $1.5 billion multiyear agreement will support the expansion of Amkor’s U.S. packaging capacity, according a news release.

Amkor's Arizona fab, already under construction, is expected to begin production in early 2028 in the Peoria Innovation Core, and bring with it new jobs and revenues.
