American Airlines adds 2 stops to Phoenix flight list, including Tijuana
Posted
INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
American Airlines, for the first time in its history, will provide service to Tijuana International Airport
The airline also announced flights from Phoenix to Tri-Cities Airport serving Pasco, Wash. Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport’s largest airline also will increase to two its daily flights between the Valley and Guadalajara, Mexico.
The flights announced this week are in addition to the nearly 30 daily flights that were added to the airline’s winter schedule last month.
“The addition of a direct, non-stop flight to Tijuana, Mexico builds on Phoenix’s status as a major hub and one of Mexico’s largest air travel markets. This new connection will ultimately strengthen our tourism industry, support business, and create more job opportunities for Phoenicians,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said.
