Amazon starts drone delivery service in Tolleson

Some Tolleson residents can now get Amazon drone deliveries, the company announced earlier this week.

The deliveries, which started Nov. 5, are exclusively available to those residents who live within a 7-mile radius of Tolleson Civic Center, 9055 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson, said Zoe Richmond, an Amazon spokeswoman.

The civic center is just down the street from Amazon’s same-day distribution center at 107th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
