CALIO - Alma was born Nov. 6, 1923 in Calio, N.D. She passed away Oct. 17, 2012 in Apache Junction, AZ. She was raised on the family farm near Calio and later met her husband George Berg. They were married for 49 years before he preceded her in death in Dec., 1991. They farmed near Eageland, ND as well as the family farm which they owned. They retired and moved to Cherokee Village in Apache Junction, AZ in 1984. Alma loved to cook, entertain and play the organ. She loved to socialize, dance and knew no strangers. She is survived by sons, Gerald, Ronald and Bryan; two sisters, Lorraine and Genevieve; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday October 24, 2012 at Saint George Catholic Church, 300 E 16th Ave., Apache Junction, AZ.
