Allen Keith Hughes

Allen Keith Hughes, born March 1, 1958, in Newport News, Virginia, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, after prolonged health struggles. Preceded in death by his father Rex Hughes, his mother Hazel Hughes, and his niece Heather Hughes.
Allen had a long career in sales before health issues required him to take an early retirement.
He was always that one friend you knew you could count on to be there if you needed him - and he was so willing to reach out and help others. Known for his sense of humor and especially his hilarious comments. Allen was loved by many and his presence will be deeply missed.
Survived by his partner of 43 years, Dwayne Wall of Sun City West, Arizona., son Allen K. Hughes, ll, and daughter Lesli Hughes, both of Hermitage, Tennessee, brother Larry Hughes and his wife Carrington of Bells Island, North Carolina, brother Hubert Hughes and his wife Sarah of Hampton, Virginia.
Also survived by three grandchildren, Cory Hughes, Kaleb Hughes, and Abby Sikes; several nieces and nephews along with numerous cousins, family members, and an overwhelming number of friends - all of which he loved and cherished so much.
Per his wishes, Allen will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
