All light rail stations to open July 3 in downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX— All Valley Metro rail stations in downtown Phoenix will be open for light rail service beginning Sunday, July 3, as progress continues with the construction of the south central extension/downtown hub, the agency announced Monday.

Valley Metro officials also stated in a release that a Sunday schedule will be in place on the Fourth of July.

Customer service and transit center windows will be closed Monday, July 4.
