Aldi grocery store planned at Power, Elliot in Mesa

The grocery store will be part of a large commercial center.

The Aldi grocery store is to be constructed on the south side of the 6800 to 6900 blocks of East Elliot Road and the east side of the 3600 to 3700 blocks of South Power Road in Mesa.

A 20,598-square-foot Aldi grocery store is to be constructed east of Power Road on the south side of Elliot Road in Mesa.

The planned look and landscaping for the development on 3 acres were discussed at the Sept. 12 meeting of the Mesa Design Review Board.

The grocery store will be part of a large commercial center, staff Planner Cassidy Welch said at the meeting.
