Albert Lucchesi, 85 Albert Lucchesi, 85, passed away Sept. 4 after a struggle with Parkinson"s disease. Born in San Francisco, Calif., Dec. 4, 1921, he was raised in Lucca, Italy where he met and married his beloved wife Ilva. In 1948 he returned to the US settling in Milwaukee, Wis. In 1949 he was joined by his wife and daughter. He worked for the Neidner Schlitz Tile Company for 35 years as a tile setter and then as an estimator. After retiring and spending many winters in Arizona, they made the permanent move to the Valley of the Sun in 2003. Mr. Lucchesi loved his home in Ventana Lakes, where he spent many a day fishing, which he really enjoyed. He is survived by his loving wife, of 61 years, Ilva, his daughter Adriane Briganti and his grandson Mark Briganti. He died at home surrounded by his loving family. The family is forever grateful to Hospice of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Lucchesi wished to be remembered with contributions to the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Research Center.
