Albert Farris, 78Sun City resident Albert Avous Farris died April 14, 2008 at Boswell Hospital, 10401 W. Thunderbird Blvd.Lovingly known as Al to his family and friends, Mr. Farris was born Aug. 9, 1929 in Tishomingo, Miss. He later moved to Mandeville, La., then to Arizona.He is survived by his wife, Edith; two sons, Larry Farris of Peoria and Dennis Farris Sr., of Mantachie, Miss.; daughter, Edie Gaspard of Peoria; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.A memorial service was conducted April 18 in Peoria.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
