Drag performer, musician and actor Alaska 5000 will bring “Alaska Thunderfu*k: The Revolution Tour” to Phoenix on May 4, 2027, at Crescent Ballroom. The Phoenix date is part of an ambitious 55-show tour visiting all 50 states, beginning March 4 in Portland, Maine.
The tour follows Alaska’s current run portraying Mary Todd Lincoln in Cole Escola’s Broadway comedy “Oh, Mary!” Alaska rose to prominence as a finalist on Season 5 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” before winning Season 2 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.”
Beyond television, Alaska co-wrote and starred in the Off-Broadway production “Drag: The Musical,” which won an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical. Her recording career includes five solo albums — “Anus,” “Poundcake,” “Vagina,” “Red 4 Filth” and “The Brunette Album.” Rolling Stone included her songs “Hieeee” and “Read U Wrote U” on its 2024 list of 20 notable songs by drag performers.
