Airport projects part of Chandler’s FY25 capital budget

Chandler Municipal Airport is budgeting for a runway extension study that would allow the facility to house larger business jets year-round.

Chandler’s City Council approved many expenditures at its May 9 regular meeting — including a design contract for one of many planned Chandler Municipal Airport improvements.

By approving its consent agenda, the council awarded a design contract to C&S Engineers Inc. for the airport operations garage.

The $306,000 design must be completed within 460 days.
