OPINION — To address Dave Frank’s comments about people in the country illegally, the issue is not so much the ICE mission but their tactics.
Masked, anonymous, kitted out for combat and overly aggressive. Causing injury and death to American citizens. All this to apprehend folks who, for the most part, are working on your roof or taking care of your landscaping.
This Goldwater/Reagan Conservative would like to see ICE tactics based not on drummed-up hysteria and fear but rather on the real-world risk 98% of these folks actually represent, which is practically none.
