After board vote, Deer Valley Unified won’t change campus boundaries

No changes appear imminent for 2026-27 school year, but discussions on managing expected enrollment spike will continue

The Deer Valley Unified School District’s campus boundaries won’t change in the near future.

Facing a vote to accept recommendations from the district’s long range planning committee to reboundary district zones on the north end of Peoria and Phoenix where substantial population growth is forecast in the coming years, the governing board didn’t approve the motion at its meeting late Tuesday night.
