Wireless providers such as T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint are shutting down their 3G networks later this year. AT&T already shuttered its 3G network last month.
As of March 31, T-Mobile announced Sprint’s older 3G (CDMA) network will shut down, and Sprint’s LTE network will be shut down on June 30, according to the T-Mobile website.
