ADOT steps up Valley freeway work after July Fourth weekend

Three Valley freeway projects will affect Valley drivers this weekend, state transportation officials said.

The Arizona Department of Transportation on Thursday announced that drivers should prepare for the following from Friday afternoon, July 10, until Monday morning, July 13:

Northbound State Route 51 will be closed between the I-10 “Mini-Stack” interchange and Colter Street from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement improvements.
