ADOT plans weekend I-17 closures between ‘Split, Stack’ interchanges

Drivers will need to take detours this weekend to negotiate work taking place along Interstate 17 in central Phoenix, state transportation officials said.
Here is what is planned Aug. 15-17 for pavement maintenance:
• Southbound I-17 will be closed between Interstate 10 at the “Stack” interchange and I-10 at the “Split” interchange (near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport) from 9 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Drivers will need to take detours this weekend to negotiate work taking place along Interstate 17 in central Phoenix, state transportation officials said.
Here is what is planned Aug. 15-17 for pavement maintenance:
• Southbound I-17 will be closed between Interstate 10 at the “Stack” interchange and I-10 at the “Split” interchange (near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport) from 9 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday.
DETOUR: Southbound drivers may consider using eastbound I-10 as an alternate route.
• Northbound I-17 will be closed between I-10 at the “Split” interchange and I-10 at the “Stack” interchange from 9 p.m. Saturday to 2 p.m. Sunday.
DETOUR: Northbound drivers may consider using westbound I-10 as an alternate route.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
