ADOT plans to reopen southbound SR 51 Monday morning

Southbound State Route 51 is scheduled to open to traffic between Cactus Road and Northern Avenue by early Monday, but some restrictions south of 32nd Street are expected to remain in place as crews work on a pavement improvement project, state transportation officials said Sunday.

Three left lanes plus the HOV lane will be open today, March 16, following a weekend closure for the removal of asphalt pavement. The following restrictions are scheduled until Tuesday afternoon, March 17:
