ADOT plans busy weekend of Phoenix-area freeway work

Freeway sections and ramps will be closed for construction work this weekend along Loops 101, 202, 303 and other state highways, state transportation officials said.

These projects will affect travel from Friday night, Oct. 2, until Monday morning, Oct. 5:

  • Westbound Loop 101 will be closed between 51st and 75th avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project. Westbound Loop 101 on-ramps will be closed at 27th and 35th avenues.
