ADOT advises US 60 drivers to use other exits during Tempe’s Rural Road work

Work is expected to take place through the rest of the year along Rural Road at US 60, and state transportation officials said drivers should use Mill Avenue or McClintock Road exit ramps during that time.

The work zones are in place around the clock, and Rural Road is narrowed to one lane in both directions approaching US 60.

That has required the off-ramps at Rural to be narrowed from three to two lanes, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
