PHOENIX – No full closures are scheduled for freeway improvement projects in the Valley this weekend as state transportation officials advise drivers to prepare for driving on wet roads.
“Do not drive into areas with standing or flowing storm runoff. It is important to stay alert and avoid distractions when behind the wheel. Buckle up and never drive while impaired,” an Arizona Department of Transportation release stated.
Although no full closures are scheduled Oct. 10-13, drivers will still encounter work zones throughout the region.
