A vacant lot set aside for a Mesa fire station at the northwest corner of Adobe and Recker roads has been sold and is to be developed as a two-story condominium project.
The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board on Aug. 25 voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to recommend the council approve the rezoning of 2.1 acres, a site plan review and preliminary plat for the Adobe Luxury Villas condominiums, with Chair Jessica Sarkissian and board member Troy Peterson absent.
The City Council will make the final decision at a future meeting.
