ADHS receives 1,504 applications for pot program

No timetable has been set on who will receive marijuana licenses from a lottery as part of the Arizona Department of Health Services program, according to officials.

The Arizona Department of Health Services accepted applications for the social equity ownership program from Dec. 1 to Dec. 14. A random drawing will be held to award the 26 licenses available.

ADHS received 1,504 applications as part of the social equity ownership program.
