ADHS: Peoria area ZIP codes nearing 30,000 COVID-19 cases

Arizona Department of Health Services reported 3,418 new coronavirus cases and 27 new deaths Saturday, for a total of 962,410 cases and 18,300 deaths.

In the Peoria area, cases are at 29,765 compared with 29,462 this time a week ago, a difference of 303, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.

This is an increase of about 11% since the beginning of June, and 19% since the beginning of April.
