ADHS: Peoria area ZIP codes have 37,847 COVID-19 cases, up 51% since April

Arizona Department of Health Services reported 3,813 new coronavirus cases and 58 new deaths Friday, for a total of 1,182,885 cases and 21,348 deaths.

In the Peoria area, cases are at 37,847 compared with 37,200 this time a week ago, a difference of 647, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.

This is an increase of about 42% since the beginning of June, and 51% since the beginning of April.
