ADHS: Peoria area ZIP codes have 37,200 COVID-19 cases

Arizona Department of Health Services reported 3,691 new coronavirus cases and 63 new deaths Friday, for a total of 1,163,217 cases and 21,096 deaths.

In the Peoria area, cases are at 37,200 compared with 36,514 this time a week ago, a difference of 686, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.

This is an increase of about 39% since the beginning of June, and 49% since the beginning of April.
