ADHS: Peoria area ZIP codes have 34,045 COVID-19 cases, 27%  increase since June

Arizona Department of Health Services reported 3,013 new coronavirus cases and 69 new deaths Friday, for a total of 1,075,876 cases and 19,727 deaths.

In the Peoria area, cases are at 34,045 compared with 33,651 this time a week ago, a difference of 394, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.

This is an increase of about 27% since the beginning of June, and 36% since the beginning of April.
