ADHS: Peoria area ZIP codes have 29,090 COVID-19 cases, 16% increase since April

Arizona Department of Health Services reported 2,289 new coronavirus cases and 11 new deaths Thursday, for a total of 937,936 cases and 18,300 deaths.

In the Peoria area, cases are at 29,090 compared with 28,487 this time a week ago, a difference of 603, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.

This is an increase of about 9% since the beginning of June, and 16% since the beginning of April.
