ADHS: Peoria area ZIP codes have 28,487 COVID-19 cases

Arizona Department of Health Services reported 1,759 new coronavirus cases and 15 new deaths Thursday, for a total of 923,204 cases and 18,200 deaths.

In the Peoria area, cases are at 28,487 compared with 28,052 this time a week ago, a difference of 435, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.

This is an increase of nearly 7% since the beginning of June, and 14% since the beginning of April.
