Arizona Department of Health Services reported 9,398 new coronavirus cases and 244 new deaths Thursday, for a total of 699,942 cases and 11,772 deaths.
In the Peoria area, cases are at 20,459 compared with 18,407 this time last week, a difference of 2,052, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.
Over 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient's residence. If the patient's address was unknown the case was mapped to the address of the provider followed by the address of the reporting facility.
