ADHS: Peoria area ZIP codes eclipse 30,000 COVID-19 cases, up 23% since April

Arizona Department of Health Services reported 3,307 new coronavirus cases and three new deaths Sunday, for a total of 986,082 cases and 18,300 deaths.

In the Peoria area, cases are at 30,757 compared with 29,765 this time a week ago, a difference of 992, according to Arizona Department of Health Services.

This is an increase of about 15% since the beginning of June, and 23% since the beginning of April.
