Adaptive 'Friendsgiving' event coming to Surprise this weekend

Surprise is hosting an adaptive family "Friendsgiving" from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane.

The Parks and Recreation Department is hosting is putting on the event, which will include a turkey trot, fun activities and pie.

This event is designated for individuals with disabilities and their families to enjoy. 

The cost is $5 per person in advance and $7 on day of event for residents and  $7 per person in advance and $9 on day of event for non-residents.

Ages 3 and under are free.
