Abrazo Health recently broke ground on the first phase of a 6,900-square-foot expansion for their west campus in Goodyear.
The $8.4 million dollar project will house a second interventional radiology suite and expanded pharmacy. The expansion will allow more freedom for the campus to perform pharmacy operations and complex medication processing.
For radiology, the new suit will offer staff the ability to perform biopsies, angioplasties, angioplasties, and other vascular procedures.
“As the West Valley continues to grow we have grown with it through expansion of new patient rooms, new surgical capabilities and new technology. This new expansion improves our capacity and increases our clinical capability, furthering our commitment to improving the quality of life of residents of the communities we serve,” said Abrazo West Campus CEO Hans Driessnack in a statement.
Construction is expected to be completed sometime later this year.
Abrazo West Campus, is a 216-bed Level 1 Trauma and thrombectomy-capable Primary Plus Stroke Center.
