In response to the story, Maricopa County heat network helps tens of thousands through summer:
Sad that such facilities have to exist at all but wonderful that they are made available to the less-blessed members of our community.
Mention was made of a young woman of 16 who said she was “...kicked out of my house, my family’s house.” One wonders what the background is to that story, what the circumstances were that resulted in this situation and whether anyone can help her get her life sorted out.
Whatever the reasons, she’s too young to be in this position.
