‘A Very Merry Christmas’ wishes come true for northwest Valley children

Rows of brand new bicycles, baby dolls and toys galore awaited excited children to grab their gifts for “A Very Merry Christmas” at Dillon’s Western Trails Ranch in Morristown last week.

Attendees gathered outside at sundown Dec. 15 surrounded by an innumerable number of piled-high presents, the petting zoo, stables and at the location, 37839 W. Grand Ave. Nameless gifts were marked by other identifiers so children could claim their personal presents with their reserved, holiday-decorated tickets, which also listed many fun stations and booths they could visit for activities like karaoke.

West Valley business networking group EPIC gives back to the community each year by collectively sponsoring “A Very Merry Christmas,” which is designed to support children in need. According to a press release, the program “provides a truly memorable holiday experience” with personally requested gifts, festive-decorated activity booths, a traditional Christmas meal from Dillon’s KC BBQ, consisting of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and more.
