A shot of hope: Scottsdale frontline workers line-up for COVID-19 vaccine

At the tail-end of an exhausting year, thousands of Scottsdale front line workers have received the COVID-19 vaccine in less than a week as local doctors detail the emotions within HonorHealth.

For the general population, the vaccine is estimated to be available this summer.

Scottsdale-based HonorHealth officials say about 1,000 of its staff, per day, has received the first of two vaccine doses, officially titled Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, since Dec. 17.
