A cool look at R.H. Johnson pool

Rubberized decking improves area

The pool at R.H. Johnson Recreation Center, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd., has a cool new look.

The project was approved by the Recreation Centers of Sun City West governing board from fiscal year 2023-24 at a cost of $205,500. The work included replacing the old pool deck with new rubberized decking, according to Katy O’Grady, Recreation Centesr of Sun City West general services manager.

“We chose colors that can help delineate the edge better and handle foot traffic and wear and tear,” she said.
