The A Mountain Challenge will continue through April 30 in Tempe, offering participants the opportunity to earn prizes as they complete a Mt. Everest-size task.
The challenge is a seven-week hiking, walking or running event during which participants climb on their own schedule. Forty times up and down the Tempe landmark is equal to hiking Mt. Everest, according to event organizers.
Once registered, participants will be emailed a link to log their climbs up A Mountain. Prizes will be distributed from various Downtown merchants throughout the challenge.
