$913K contract approved for Mesa library Kids’ Zone improvement

Exhibits on bighorn sheep, Mexican gray wolves and roadrunners are part of a more than $900,000 expansion recently approved for the Kids’ Zone at the Main Library, 64 E. First St.

The Mesa City Council in a Dec. 8 consent agenda with other items voted unanimously to approve a $913,919 contract to Chasse Building Team for the project. It is to be funded by 2018-authorized arts and culture bonds.
