90-year-old West Valley resident takes to the sky for birthday celebration

Marg Burg took to the sky on Thursday, July 20 to celebrate her 90th birthday from 14,000 feet above the Valley of the Sun.

Burg had been fascinated with sky diving and got her inspiration from former president George H. W. Bush when he skydived for his 90th birthday in 2014.

“I thought then if George could do it, I could do it. It evidently planted a seed in the back of my head,” she said.
