An 85-unit apartment complex is planned for a five-acre vacant lot in south Phoenix.
The infill project, called Proximity @ 7th, is at the southwest corner of Eighth Place and Euclid Avenue, just east of Seventh Street. The developer is Avenue North and the engineer is 3 Engineering. The apartment complex’s address will be 801 E. Euclid Ave.
The development went before city of Phoenix planning staff for preliminary approval Monday morning, but a time extension was issued for the approval so the development team could provide needed details to one part of the site plan. Phoenix Planner Dru Maynus said the team needed to list the heights of each building on the map and clarify which direction each building was facing.
