80-home subdivision planned near Jomax Road in north Phoenix

An 80-unit single-family residential development is planned to be built southeast of 19th Avenue and Jomax Road in north Phoenix.

The Phoenix Planning Commission approved a rezone to allow the subdivision on Thursday, June 4. It will go to Phoenix City Council for final approval.

The subdivision on the 16-acre property southeast of the southeast corner of the intersection will be called Briles Pass. It will feature houses of no more than two stories and 30 feet in height.
