Ocean 44 is proud to team up with USO Arizona to welcome and host a baby shower for 75 expecting military moms.

The moms are either active-duty members themselves or related to active-duty members and will be treated to a one-of-a-kind baby shower and complimentary lunch on Saturday, May 20th at 11:00 am at Ocean 44 near the luxury wing at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Jeff Mastro and Mike Mastro have been partnering with USO Arizona to deliver complimentary dining experiences since 2019. This will be the fourth year the USO baby shower will be hosted at one of the group’s high-end restaurants. The event has been held twice at Dominick’s Steakhouse and this will be the second year it will be held at Ocean 44.
Arrangements for the elegant and fun baby shower were provided in conjunction with USO Arizona, which partnered with Ocean 44 to identify the expecting moms who will be part of the once-in-a-lifetime baby shower experience.

“As a family-owned restaurant, that now spans several generations working in the restaurants we couldn’t be prouder to host this beautiful baby shower for all the expecting military moms,” Jeff Mastro, co-founder and co-owner of Ocean 44, said in a press release. “We are thrilled to treat and deliver a world class afternoon of fun for these special ladies as we continue our tradition of supporting the men and women who actively serve our country.”

Kelly Nastos, USO Arizona Executive Director, said in a press release that USO Arizona hosts four baby showers around the state annually for expecting moms in Phoenix, Yuma, Tucson, and Fort Huachuca.

“We are incredibly honored to receive this generous support from Ocean 44,” Nastos said in a press release. “With this support, USO Arizona is able to continue its mission and provide more services and support to the military community that serves us each and every day. We know this day will also be transformative for our military moms in helping them create some bonds with other military moms so that they can share experiences and create life-long friendships.”

On that day the expecting moms will also participate in some fun, traditional baby shower games with cool prizes for mom and baby.
For over 82 years, the USO has been strengthening America’s military service members by keeping them connected to their family, home, and country throughout their service. Corporate sponsors; individual donors; volunteers and community partners, such as Dominick’s Steakhouse, enable the USO to fulfill its mission.
