On Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 the 62nd Annual Phoenix Heart Ball was hosted at The Phoenician Resort — the first time in-person since 2019.
Leading the efforts to benefit the American Heart Association of Arizona was Chairman Jennifer Moser, and her executive team: Vice Chairmen, Suzanne Hilton and Maja Langbein; Heart Ball Sweetheart, Char Hubble; Chairman-Elect, Amanda Garmany and the 2020/2021 Honorary Chairs, Dennis, Jeff and Mike Mastro.
The theme for the Phoenix Heart Ball this year was Remembering Hearts: Past, Present and Future, remembering those lost in the past, remembering to take care of oneself in the present, and remembering to teach future generations what to do today to live a longer life.

62nd Phoenix Heart Ball nets millions of dollars for American Heart Association

Heart Ball chose early on in 2020 to postpone the ball a year and a half to 2021. Heart Ball does no fundraising the evening of the ball and instead relies on community support, sponsorships and donations throughout the year to raise their funds, in addition to table sales.
The ball benefits the American Heart Association of Arizona. Heart Ball funds play an essential role in the American Heart Association’s lifesaving work, including innovative research, advocacy, and education programs that positively impact cardiovascular health according to a press release. Their mission is to help people everywhere increase their healthy life expectancy.
The spirited gala festivities were complemented by stunning décor in the ballroom: towering bright rose and hydrangea centerpieces, shades of red featured in the luxe table linens, large, star-like globe light pendants and royal blue lighting accents. Entertainment was provided by West Coast Music of Beverly Hills and DJ Mr. P-Body.
“Heart disease has touched so many lives, and I was honored when asked in 2019 to chair the Phoenix Heart Ball,” said Chairman Jennifer Moser. “I am thankful for the outstanding committee of hard-working women whose commitment and dedication help to raise much needed funds for our community. We appreciate the generosity of our sponsors and donors whose steadfast support will move mountains for AHA and enjoyed celebrating everyone’s hard work at the ball.”
Since its inception, the Phoenix Heart Ball volunteers have raised over $40 million to fight the No.1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke, and to implement programs throughout our valley.
