Streets in Azure Skies in Apache Junction are getting an asphalt overlay that is to cost more than $620,000.

The housing subdivision is bordered by Apache Trail to the north, Broadway Avenue to the south, Ironwood Drive to the west and Thunderbird Drive to the east.

The work would be through a 1 Government Procurement Alliance cooperative contract for $564,803.39 plus a 10% contingency for unforeseen change orders in the amount of $56,480.33 for a total project cost not to exceed $621,283.72.
