City and town managers are the top paid salaried employees of most local governments in the Valley, and Apache Junction City Manager Bryant Powell is no exception.
Powell is the city of Apache Junction’s highest paid employee with a salary of $202,600, a records request shows.
Powell started with Apache Junction as assistant city manager in 2001. In July 2015 he became city manager. As the city’s chief administrative officer, he assists the council in developing a vision and implementing a successful strategic plan to maintain and enhance the quality of life of all those who live, visit, work or invest in Apache Junction, according to the city’s website.
