$50K Powerball winner sold in Phoenix, Mega Millions reaches $1.13B

A winning Powerball ticket for Monday’s drawing was sold in Phoenix, but the big prize remained elusive, Arizona Lottery officials said Tuesday.

The local winner was purchased a the QuikTrip, 2836 N. 27th Ave. Another $50,000 winning ticket was sold in Tucson.

Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $865 million, or $416.1 million cash value, according to the lottery.

Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot is estimated to be $1.13 billion.
