Apache Junction sees 5 DUIs, 2 drug possession incidents over Thanksgiving weekend

The Apache Junction Police Department took the following reports on driving under the influence and drug possession incidents Nov. 22-26:

  • Driving under the influence, reported at 6:21 p.m. Nov. 23 in the 1500 block of West Apache Trail.
  • Driving under the influence, reported at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 24 at North Saguaro Drive and West Apache Trail.
  • Driving under the influence, reported at 3:58 p.m. Nov. 25 at North Ironwood Drive and West Apache Trail.
  • Driving under the influence, reported at 4:16 p.m. Nov. 25 at North Thunderbird Drive and West Apache Trail.
  • Driving under the influence, reported at 7:32 p.m. Nov. 25 at South Ironwood Drive and West Apache Trail.
  • Drug possession, reported at 8:57 p.m. Nov. 25 in the 3100 block of West Superstition Boulevard.
  • Drug possession, reported at 12:31 a.m. Nov. 26 at South Delaware Drive and West 16th Avenue.
